How to set up a home cinema with a 100" screen

Home theater with a big projector screen

You don't need a big budget or a dedicated room for a home cinema. With a projector and a 100-inch screen, any wall can become a movie night.

1. Pick the wall

Choose a clean, flat wall facing your seating. The 100" screen is 2.21 × 1.25 m, so measure first.

2. Hang the screen

Stick the strips to the wall, line up the screen and smooth it out from the center. No drilling or tools needed.

3. Place the projector

Put the projector on a table or shelf facing the screen and adjust it until the picture fills the 16:9 frame.

4. Control the light

Close the curtains and switch off bright lights. Soft lamps behind the seats keep the room cosy without washing out the picture.

5. Get comfortable

Add cushions and blankets, and sit far enough back to see the whole screen.
